Exercising Your Upper Torso With Weight Training Exercises

By Lex Simian Xavier

Lots of people listen to the hype that surrounds lots of these "miracle" weight loss products that are for sale. The advertising used normally says that it's a fast and easy way to lose a load of weight without having to lift a finger. Unfortunately, even if you do manage to lose a little weight, your body is designed to function optimally using the cardiovascular system. Your heart, lungs and vascular system are equipped to transfer oxygen from one place in your body to another to help fuel muscle tissue. If you don't keep your cardiovascular system healthy you may suffer from some terrible illnesses that could have otherwise have been avoided.

Usually only serious athletes are concerned about conditioning to improve their cardiovascular fitness. Yet research has shown that people with healthy fitness levels greatly improve the rate at which oxygen is circulated around the body. This is good news for those people who struggle to get a good night's sleep. When a body is fit, breathing is easier, and therefore more oxygen gets to where it needs to be. Nothing makes a person feel more refreshed than sleeping the whole night.

Those who don't have very high cardiovascular fitness levels tend to have slow metabolisms. This simply means that their bodies are not burning as many calories per hour, which means weight loss can be harder.

Most people think of running flat out on a treadmill in a gym until you collapse on the floor when they think of cardiovascular exercise. You only need to get in about an extra 30 minutes of exercise each day to really reap the benefits of doing exercise. You don't have to do all of the extra exercise in one chunk, you can split it up over the day. Even just a brisk 10 minute walk in the park is counted as a part of the 30 minutes of exercise. Even taking time out to play basketball with your kids adds to your total.

When people hear the words 'cardiovascular exercise' they think it means sprinting on a treadmill so fast that they turn bright red and faint. You only need to get in about an extra 30 minutes of exercise each day to really reap the benefits of doing exercise. Those 30 minutes can be done all in one block, or they can be broken into sections throughout your day. Even just a brisk 10 minute walk in the park is counted as a part of the 30 minutes of exercise. Playing basketball with the kids for a few minutes can add to your total.

Turning on the stereo and dancing around to your favorite tune for a few minutes adds up too. It makes no difference what you do. Just doing a little more exercise throughout the day will improve your fitness level. In general improving your level of fitness can help you in more ways than one. The benefits include happiness and also good long term health. You can drastically reduce the risk of getting heart disease, type 2 diabetes and even cancer by simply maintaining a good level of fitness. And to add to all of this the more exercise you can do daily the more energy you'll have. This is good for people wanting to wake up feeling energized and refreshed and also lose weight at the same time.

One fantastic benefit to getting into magnificent shape is that you can show everybody your new body when you obtain some Lacoste shorts. These marvelous clothes are so accepted because they not only feel extremely comfy, but they will attract an outstanding amount of social attention as well.
