Go Have Pleasure and Be Protected When You Paintball

By Gareth Jale

Recently you can do a number of things to keep yourself occupied as well as staying fit and healthy. The US has been adjudged the capital of the world as actually the center of fun. Paintballing is one of those activities which can help you to stay fit. Since the time it was introduced, it has become very popular in US and other countries as well. But there are a few dangers linked to it.

Making use of the ancient paintball markers in the form of a sport is what the paintball is. It involves a lot of people coming together to enjoy this game. Paintball marker is another name used to designate paintball guns that when not played well can cause a lot of detrimental injuries to some of the human body parts. It involves the use of a paintball gun that is designed with markers. This marker makes use of the compressed air or carbon dioxide in them to push out the paintballs when they are pressed. These paintballs are propelled through the barrel to fly out. This is equipment that was formally used by those engaged in forestry to get the trees and wandering animals marked.

It has been turned into very lucrative sports that are enjoyed by all. Meanwhile it is very good to note that due to the level of speed or the velocity with which these balls are pushed out, there can be a lot of injuries and damages to some parts of the body when played or done without adequate protection for some delicate parts of the body. The eyes are the first and most delicate part of the body normally affected. The research statistics in US have provided the information that the highest number of accidents involving eye damage is due to the inadequate protection for eyes while playing the game, especially in the cases where the game is not played in the specified arenas. While the possibility for damages done to the body by the use of the paintball is because of the fact that it is not a restricted game. Generally anyone can purchase this game for playing, but the problem occurs when they refrain from adopting proper protective methods.

The injuries occurring upon such accidents generally amount to conditions like hyphemas, vitreous hemorrhages resulting in bleeding of the eye, retinal detachment, bruising and swelling of the retina, cataracts and corneal abrasions. Along with the impairment of vision, these can even lead to complete blindness. This is the reason why all the protective wears and masks must be won before paintballing. The carbon dioxide used to build pressure to push out the paintballs can cause a considerable level of damage to your eardrums. This might in some cases lead to the loss of hearing.

One of the damages and indeed the worse damage that can be done by the paintballing exercise is death, and the most reported cases of death by this were caused by the carbon dioxide canisters. If these canisters, while still contain air pressure, are removed by anyone, the person can die if he accidentally hits them.
